Five people attended Tuesday night's business meeting to discuss
the Tri-State Unity Coalition. The meeting was called to order at about 7:00 P.M. .

Rosanne will spend time away from TSUC over the next
several months (or more) for family reasons.
Executive Committee to consider future direction of TSUC.
Rosanne said the insurance woman called here but she hasn't returned her call. Peryy needs to let the insurance
woman know we will be switching to another agency. |

the holidays or consider other action. |

Norm updated us on the Historical
Society situation about the funding for handicap assess. A Justice Department Report will be issued and the ADA,
George McDonald, is also looking into the matter. He submitted paperwork to the federal government to enforce the
proper use of those funds. The representative from Pike County, Mr. Bermlin, will also follow through with this
issue.
Wayne indicated that there is a painting at Forst Hall Antiques in Milford that is discriminatory against African
Americans. Its located on the second floor in the back and is pretty large (about 5 feet tall). He spoke with the
owner about it but he was not inclined to do anything about it.

The group though of a potential project - a piece entitled "Are Minorities Welcome in Pike County?" or
something to that effect. This would be published on the web and have supporting photos, etc. |
